MRW Modern Slavery Conference 2021

30 June 2021 | Virtual event

MRW introduces the Modern Slavery Conference 2021

The waste and recycling industry has been identified by the police, regulators and campaigners as a prime target of organised crime gangs that exploit and coerce labourers.

Following its recent Root It Out campaign, aimed at raising awareness and rooting out slavery across the industry, MRW is taking it one step further by introducing its inaugural Modern Slavery Conference.

Taking place virtually on 30 June 2021, this event will look to update, inform and discuss the very latest on modern day slavery and how the waste and recycling sector should best respond to this recognised threat.

We all have a role to play and we need YOU to be a part of this discussion.
